May Visitors- Round 2

The week after I got back from Disneyland my parents and sister came to visit for Memorial Day.  We had a fun time and did some fun things!  The girls love it when people come visit.  We saw Epic, went to the park, went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and ate lots of yummy food! Of course I was bad about taking pictures, but here's what I got...

SPLASH PAD AND PARK

We have so many parks and splash pads around us.  We have a ward playgroup we go to almost every week and we have yet to go to the same one twice.  It has been so fun for the kiddos.

 Brooklyn hates having her picture taken!

 She wasn't so sure about the water splashing on her, but after a little while she warmed up!

 Kensy is our little monkey.  

She made it to the top rather quickly and insisted on getting down on her own.

THE ZOO

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs is awesome.  The girls were able to feed the giraffes.  They had a great time checking out all the animals.  All Mekensy wanted to do the ENTIRE time was ride the sky ride.  We did almost come home with one less child (Arcadia).  Richard got a little excited to see the hippos and took off ahead of us.  Arcadia wasn't with me so I assumed she was with him...oops, she wasn't. I am a little ashamed to admit that it took more than a few minutes to realize she was missing.  Luckily she knew what to do and stayed in the same area and found a lady with kids and told them she was lost.  Scary moment for me!!
